 Was suppose to post this entry last week but didn't have the energy to finish it.
Day 1-18 MarchCabbed to school cause bagpack was like damn heavy plus was kinda of lazy to take the bus to school ._.
Waited for Atika at the canteen,reported at the hall.Were being assigned to the different groups of Sec 2 by the second camp chief,Farhan.We were randomly arranged to the groups.Most of the groups would have a female and a male SL.Was assigned to group 4 with Emirul.Headed to camp ground.Went to the dorms to leave our stuffs there.Headed for hike after lunch.The Bukit Timah hike took us like around 4 hours plus liddat.Went back to camp ground.Had dinner.Was suppose to have night hike but half-way through there was lighting so they had no choice but to cancel it.
Day 2-19 MarchDidn't really get to sleep during the first night cause SLs had briefing with the camp chief then was treated to Doritos and coke by the camp chief,Mac.So ended up going back to our dorm very late.Had belay school after breakfast.Had to belayer cause all SLs are required to do so.Well,was very confident in belaying to end up Instructor Xin Ru also known as Instructor X had to beside me to help me.Didn't had a good experience during belay school.Had to belay guys that were bigger size and way taller than me ._.'''
And the freaking helmet was like damn smelly sia.After that,had outdoor cooking.Cooked 21 packets of noodles for 23 people and ended up using 21 packets of instant noodles seasoning.The noodles ended up very salty and soft cause our noodles were over-cooked.Me and Emirul took our noodles last.So I actually had some of the burnt parts of the noodles which i didn't eat.
Our outdoor cooking was full of accidents,our pot of noodles was almost over-turned then our mass tin that was cooking the hot-dogs was over-turned so the hot-dogs were wasted then our instructor's feets kena scalded by the hot water in the mass tin.Luckly,i didn't need to wash the pot cause the Sec 2 guys in my group had a hard time cleaning the badly burnt mess.Afer that,had team building games.SLs had to lead one of the games which was warp speed.Me and Emirul came up with an idea instead of using a coloured ball then was the original method of playing the game.
We came it to using water bombs to play it.Which ended up,me and Emirul regretted coming up with this idea cause the Sec 2 won the bet,which was if they managed to break the SLs record of 8s,they could throw the water bombs at us.In the end,they won.Me and Emirul kena chased around,Emirul kena caught at the canteen there while i kena caught at the dorms there.Ended up wet on one side and dry on one side while Emirul was damn unlucky,he was wet from head to toe.Hahas.Next,had the wall challenge.The guys had to hoist people up the way to get to the other side of it.When it was my turn,didn't know who was that dumb dumb who shouted 'Why not let's just pull Joyce up!'So ended up,kena pulled up.It was damn painful sia.Had camp fire performance rehearsal after that.Had dinner then had camp fire next.Suay sia,the smoke from the camp fire kept on blowing to where me and Emirul were seated.Kena choked by the smokes.Lost my voice half-way through the camp fire.
The camp fire was damn fun sia :)
The SLs had a treat from the camp chief and second camp chief,Mac and Farhan.We went up the Bukit Timah Hill half-way to this open space where we had star gazing.It was damn beautiful sia.Onces you see it,you won't forget it.Chatted with Mac and Farhan.The route to and back was damn scary cause it was like damn freaking dark and you will have a hard time seeing your way.Back at the camp ground,the SLs kena fooled by Mac.He was like suddenly,his face turned very black and then the next thing before you knew it,he said 'I just found out that the teachers bought us pizza.'
Then he run to the table at the office there,where a stack of pizzas and three big bottles of coke that were waiting for us.
Took damn long to finish a slice of pizza.Slacked in the sick bay with a few SLs.Then slowly slowly,more SLs started to join us.Suddenly the whole room was filled with the chatting of the SLs.Slacked until 11.30pm then headed back to the dorm to shower.Chatted with Noris in the dorm until 2am plus liddat then went to sleep.
Day 3-20 MarchWoke up.Started to back my stuffs.Brought it out to the camp fire site there.Then stayed at there with Fitrah,Syazana,Christine,Katerine and Atika to prepare some cards for the instructors.Went for breakfast then had area cleaning then de-briefing.Then headed back to school.Walked to the bus-stop with Christine,Wei Jun,Syazana and instructor Azrul.During the first day of camp,i was like wishing that the last day of camp would faster arrive but when it did arrive,i wished that it was still the first day of camp cause i didn't feel like leaving the place and our instructors.
The fun and laughters that we once had,
will always stay in my heart and never be forgotten.
